Strength and quenching through, poor toughness higher than 15Cr steel; welding better, after welding, generally do not need to heat treatment.20cr4 for core strength requirement is higher and surface under wear, size large, shape or complex and little load carburized parts, such as gears, gear shaft, cam, piston pin, worm, etc., can also be used as working speed and under medium impact load of quenched and tempered parts.

Specification of heat treatment : hardening 880℃ for the first time, 780~820℃ water cooling, oil cooling; tempering 200℃ water cooling, air cooling.
