Characteristics and scope of application


SUS316 Stainless Steel has good plasticity, toughness, cold deformation and weldability, which also has better heat strength than 316L, but worse corrosion resistance than 316L. because of the lower carbon content and containing 2% -3% molybdenum, improved for reducing salts and various inorganic and organic acids, alkali and salt corrosion resistance, and high temperature strength properties.
SUS316 stainless steel is suitable for seawater application equipment, chemical, dye, paper and so on.
