Characteristics and scope of application


High strength and hardenability, good toughness, deformation is small when hardening, high temperature with high creep strength and lasting strength. used for the manufacture of forgings with greater demands of higher strength than 35CrMo steel and bigger hardened and tempered cross section, such as locomotive traction gear, supercharger drive gear rear axle by load greatly and the connecting rod and the spring clip, also for below 2000m deep oil well drill pipe joint and the fishing tools .

Specification of heat treatment : normalizing 850℃, oil cooling; tempering 560℃, water cooling, oil cooling.
Metallurgical Structure:  tempered sorbite
