SUS440B Stainless Steel summary




SUS440B stainless steel has higher hardness than SUS440A, and higher toughness than SUS440C. SUS440B is used for cutting tools, measuring tools and bearing. High hardness and good corrosion resistance performance, at the same of grinding, its disadvantage is relatively large viscosity, and heat up quickly, but it's easy to grind than any carbon steel, handsaw for cutting material is more easily.
